Our group of 8 people from NW Arkansas offer our medical skills to the devastated people of Haiti. The 7.0 earthquake in Haiti on 1/12/2010 killed over 150,000 people, made one million homeless, and affected three million Haitians. Steve, Jim, Paul, Maureen, Edie, Chad, Jeff, and Angie depart NW Arkansas on 2/5/2010 for a weeklong medical ministry on the outskirts of ravaged Port-au-Prince. Join us in our experience as we touch hurting people with medical care and the love of Jesus Christ.
We are about to have our prayer time. We will be praying for all of you. Mama said to get a mosquito neting for your first campout night. Jamie said, "Have good luck and don't get sick." It's 8:59 p.m. Arkansas time.

My prayer for you is this; Ps 91:10,11 "There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. Praying for you all.

It is touching to see these people suffering. God Bless. My prayer for the people who are suffering is
ReplyDelete"God of all creation, as we weep with our family in Haiti, console us. In this time of crisis, open our eyes to look beyond the disaster to see Christ in our brothers and sisters in Haiti, as Christ sees us. Be with us as we stand in solidarity with those living and working in Haiti. Be with us in our mourning and guide our efforts to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, comfort the grieving and stand for justice. With your mercy, sustain us at this time as we continue to work for peace and justice"
